About

Hello! I’m Josef Nankivell, and I am a Computing student from Cornwall, England. I specialise in software and web development and I am interested in just about everything tech; especially the web. When I’m not studying I am coding, writing articles, playing games or exploring the huge internet tubes.

Now, I realise you might be asking yourself “Why should I come back here?” – A valid question with all of the blogs floating about out there, especially since most them are currently better than this one! That is why over the following years I will be blogging about stuff that I am truly passionate about. I will never post just to increase traffic, or make money, if you like what I have to say, excellent, you are welcome to come back at any time!

As you don’t know me too well yet, I think I should take this opportunity to explain how much I love technology. I love software and hardware and firmware and apps and applets and servlets. I love phones and earphones and watches and things that go beep. I love blogs and microblogs and jumboblogs and twitter and twitterers and facebook and ebooks and audiobooks. I love mp3 and tcp and png and avi and hci and sql and lol.

A few other things that I share my love between include –  music, films, horses, design, physics, classic cars, open-source software and what I love most of all – my girlfriend Kezia.

In mid-August, I took a few steps back and looked at my online presence. I wanted to see how I portrayed myself personally and professionally, and what role this site would play. This site has been many things, but mostly it has been used as a contact page. For the past 2 years, I’ve been studying at university, yet I never used the potential of this site to blog my findings. The main goal of this redesign was to better balance work and play, and to lay the foundations of something I can develop in the future, when I hope to one-day own a freelance web business.

Well, I hope that whatever the future holds, you will be the first to know, for I intend to make use of this all-new re-skinned, re-wordpressed, re-awesomed website to keep you up to date about the things I love!
