The wait is over! Once again it is that wonderful time of year when we are graced with another glorious build of Ubuntu Linux. Full of the same awesomeness with the promise of being even better than the previous release. Get your hands on the juicy Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala here.

After installing the beta of Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala this evening, I tried to install Dropbox using the 9.04 deb, with very little luck indeed! The magical Dropbox team haven’t yet released a deb for 9.10, which is understandable as it has only just gone beta! So I got to work to find a way to install Dropbox on the Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala beta. You can either wait until a deb is released, or be brave and give my guide a go!

Yesterday, I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala Alpha 6, so that I could review some of the new features for this site. I just had to install Adobe AIR and thought I’d share with you how to do the same – Just in case you are unsure!

Ubuntu has released alpha 6 of Ubuntu Karmic Kola. What comes with alpha 6 you ask! Most noticeably a nice new graphical boot screen and a software store.
